The City of Kirkland’s trip reduction program, Kirkland Green Trip (KGT), is now accepting applications for the KGT Business Grant.
From now until July 15th, eligible businesses can apply for grant funding to create or enhance your business’s employee commute programs. Kirkland Green Trip is offering grants up to $7,000 to Kirkland’s employers and property managers to build a new or enhance an existing commute program that supports alternative commute options for their employees and tenants. The grant can help pay for secure bike lockers for storage, creating a transit subsidy program, setting up an “Emergency Ride Home” program for your office, and much more. Instructions, sample grant projects, and the KGT Business Grant application are all included in the pdf attachment. Additional information and eligibility requirements (as noted in the attached application packet) are posted at www.KirklandGreenTrip.com/Grants. KGT staff is available to help connect employers and property managers with resources and will help businesses identify program ideas for the grant. Contact KGT staff at support@KirklandGreenTrip.com or 425-990-3097 with any questions about the grant or to request a consultation for your business. Comments are closed.
