About the JNA

The Juanita neighborhood is the largest neighborhood in the City of Kirkland. Juanita boasts gorgeous parks, lake views, trails, well-established neighborhoods, tree-lined streets, and many thriving businesses. There are new development projects, and signs of growth are everywhere. We continue to attract new residents and businesses who are looking for a very SPECIAL place to live. 

Whether you're looking for a unique local coffee shop, a world famous restaurant, a fabulous Eastside dog park, great schools for your kids, or a thriving Farmers Market, you'll find it here. We are a neighborhood rich in diversity, and history. Welcome to Juanita!

The Juanita Neighborhoods Association (JNA) is a non-profit 501c4 organization committed to ensuring Juanita continues to remain a vital community. The JNA strives to make the neighborhood a great place to live through beautification efforts, helping neighbors, planning neighborhood / community activities and communicating information to the neighborhood residents.

We are a 100% volunteer run organization.  Our current board members are Doug Rough, Rob Scarber, Leo Gilbert, Margaret Bouniol Kaifer, Brad LaPlant, and Jennifer Salem.  If you would like to join the Juanita Neighborhoods Association Board, please email us at [email protected].  You must meet membership requirements as specified in the description below as stated in the Juanita Neighborhoods Association by-laws.

Membership: Membership in JNA shall be open to all residents, property owners, business licensees and nonprofit organizations located within JNA boundaries, and up to 5 blocks of the boundary within City limits, 18 years of age or older, shall have one vote each to be cast during attendance at any general or special meeting. Note: post office boxes shall not constitute sufficient evidence of location within the Juanita boundaries.

The members of the JNA have fun creating community through activities and initiatives that improve the neighborhood and build relationships to help serve the residents and visitors in the Juanita area. ​
